Michel Perez

Golf instructor & physical trainer

Born in Tarbes in 1957, a certified teacher of Physical Education, I have spent more than forty years teaching, coaching and physically preparing athletes - from beginner schoolchildren to professional players. Today, I bring that experience to golf.

Certified P.E. teacher (agrégé, retired from national education, 2025)
Golf-specific BPJEPS (JÉKA academy, Seilh golf course)
State diploma in Rugby
Tennis coaching diplomas (FFT)

A hands-on career

Golf

A long-time player, I taught golf at the National Engineering School of Tarbes (2002-2025) and coached my son Victor Perez - now a DP World Tour player - in his junior years. I now coach the JÉKA academy's elite golf group, and I am also its physical trainer.

Rugby

Coach of the youth teams and then the professional team of Tarbes (Fédérale 1, 2002-2005), and physical trainer of that squad for three years. A spell at the top level that shapes my vision of performance.

Teaching

A P.E. teacher since 1984, I created and led golf and rugby sports sections, up to the French university championships. Passing on knowledge has always been my craft.
